For anyone looking for a way to get from the airport to Bled we recommend Bled Taxis. They can collect and dropoff at all nearby airports including Ljubljana (Slovenia), Klagenfurt (Austria), Trieste (Italy) and Venice (Italy).

The group is flying from Dublin to Venice Treviso with Ryanair departing on Wednesday 27th June and returning on Monday 2nd July. A bus will collect the group at the airport in Venice and take them direct to Bled, the bus journey is approximately 3 hours.

Fly Air France Dublin to Ljubljana

Air France offer flights from Dublin to Ljubljana with a connection in Paris. Where this service differs from the others is that Air France book you and your baggage straight through to the Ljubljana when you check-in at Dublin, which means your baggage is transferred to the next flight for you at Paris and you should be able to avoid having to go through another complete security check.
Booking early the prices for these flights seem to be comparable to the other low fare airlines so at the moment Air France look to be the first choice for getting to Slovenia.
How to get to Slovenia from Ireland

The only airline doing direct flights to Slovenia from Ireland is Adria Airways. They fly from Dublin direct to Ljubljana every Saturday and operate change overs on other days during the week. These flights can be very expensive.
Alternative Routes
The best alternative is to get a flight from Stansted in London. Both easyJet and Ryanair offer flights from Stansted to suitable locations to access Slovenia.
easyJet fly daily from Stansted to Ljubljana and are available to book online now. Ljubljana is in the centre of Slovenia and takes around 40 minutes to travel up to Bled. Flights depart Stansted at 13:15 so to use this flight you will need to be in Stansted before 12:50 to be able to make this connection.
Ryanair fly Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from Stansted to Klagenfurt in Austria which will take around 50 minutes to travel to Bled. Flights depart Stansted at 11:50 so to use this flight you will need to be in Stansted before 09:50 to be able to make this connection.

Another point to note is that when doing room searches online you may notice 2 prices for what seems to be the same room. In general the hotels in Bled have 2 versions of each room type, those with a lake view and those without so when you do a search the more expensive room will be the one with the lake view while the other will face away from the lake.
